The movie theatre at The Falls has officially entered a new chapter with its transformation into Regal Bistro, a fully modernized, dine-in cinema that brings a much more luxurious feel to the classic movie night. What was once a standard movie house has been redesigned from the inside out to create a space that feels contemporary, comfortable, and far more immersive than before.

One of the biggest changes guests will notice immediately is the seating. The outdated chairs have been replaced with brand-new dual-motor recliners, allowing moviegoers to adjust both the headrest and footrest for personalized comfort. The front rows even feature “lay-flat loungers,” which offer a unique, sofa-like viewing experience where guests can stretch out almost completely. These upgrades are meant to make watching a film feel less like sitting in a traditional theatre and more like relaxing in a high-end home setting.
Alongside the seating makeover, the theatre underwent a major technological upgrade. The auditoriums now use laser projection, which delivers sharper, brighter images, and they’re equipped with Dolby 7.1 surround sound, enhancing every detail from quiet dialogue to booming action scenes. Though the new recliners take up more space and reduce the total number of seats per room, the trade-off is a noticeably more comfortable and cinematic environment.

What truly sets Regal Bistro apart from the theater that came before it is the addition of full dine-in service. Instead of relying on traditional concessions, moviegoers can now order a full menu that includes wings, burgers, pizza, and other entrées, all delivered directly to their seats. A remodeled lounge area near the entrance provides a place to relax before or after the film, complete with bar service and screens playing sports and entertainment. This shift makes the theatre feel like more than just a spot to watch a movie—it becomes a complete night-out destination.
For Miami and Kendall locals, this redesign offers a fresh, elevated option for entertainment without traveling far. Whether planning a date night, a family outing, or a casual evening with friends, the new Regal Bistro aims to make the experience feel special, modern, and far more comfortable than the previous layout ever allowed.
While the new setup means fewer seats in each auditorium and possibly higher prices because of the upgraded features and dine-in service, the trade-offs come with a clear benefit: a more enjoyable, comfortable, and immersive movie-going experience. Regal Bistro represents a shift toward luxury cinema, and for fans of film and good food, it’s a welcome addition to the Kendall and South Miami area.
