As someone who doesn’t party or has even gone to one of Miami’s infamous club scenes, I have had to go out of my way to find things that interest me on a Friday or Saturday Night.

Arcade Odyssey:
Arcade Odyssey:

This arcade, located in the Kendall area of Miami, is a haven for arcade lovers. It has a whole array of both modern and retro games, fit for anyone in the friend group. It has a bar (for those 21+) and a small menu with finger foods and Asian meals. You can spend hours playing each game, sweating while playing Dance Dance Revolution, and even take some nice pictures for your Instagram!

Our Grounds:
Our Grounds:

Also located in the Kendall area, Our Grounds is a family-owned breakfast restaurant that has an assortment of classic morning dishes. It is employed by people with special needs, which allows them to become more independent. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches were delectable and the prices weren’t bad. This is a good place if you need to relax after a crazy week.

Kaseya Center:
Kaseya Center:

The Kaseya Center is host to several concerts and home to the Miami Heat team. Even if you are going to a last-minute concert that day, you can enjoy the hype of being in one of the best arenas in all of the country. The Heat games are the best, providing fun and hype throughout both quarters, and the Kaseya Center food is one of my favorites, especially the chicken tenders and fries.

Colorful Cute:

Colorful Cute sells everything kawaii, one of its kind here in Miami. I have known the owner, Madeline, since 2017, when she started selling at Florida Supercon, and Colorful Cute has come a long way. Not only does she sell loads of Japanese goods, such as the famous Sonny Angels, Smiskis, and Sanrio products that can only be found in Japan, but she also helps reunite the community by having loads of events every month, such as Bullet Journal night or Trading night, where people can come and trade their figurines!

KPOP KASTLE:
KPOP KASTLE:

KPOP KASTLE is one of the only KPOP-dedicated stores in all of South Florida! Opening up back in 2022, they not only have created a way for KPOP fans like myself to buy affordable albums and merch but also have hosted several events, including inviting KPOP groups to do fan signs and events there, making it one of the only places in SFL that the KPOP community can meet.
